InterStudio – Bay Development’s design team, provides a comprehensive range of solutions from Architecture to Interiors. Our goal is to make the built environment a more sustainable one.
We will continue to harness new technologies to complement our current practices in creating greener structures, while using energy & water more judiciously, and land & materials more creatively.
Promoting healthy lifestyles among occupants and increasing employee productivity should be our common goal, while reducing waste & pollution in all its forms.
Bay’s buildings may be getting greener. But, most important is the process – our approach to running an enterprise that is socially responsible. Human capital management is a core concern of our company.
At Bay, a sense of fairness and equality is the guiding principle. It is an undeniable fact that urban workers have been marginalized, and cannot break free of the cycle of poverty, even when the sector is thriving. As a group, unskilled and semi-skilled personnel aremost affected by the ever-increasing cost of urban life.
Over the last decade, we have moved from “market wage” to “living wage” and are nearing “fair wages”. At lower levels, our personnel can expect to earn more than triple the market wages. Hopefully this will lead to a longer, more productive life.
Safety and security take on special meaning at Bay’s construction sites. Training is an integral part of our strictlyenforced standard operating procedures (SOP). Health clinics, filtered water and hygienic living quarters for all construction workers are standard. Human development is emphasized at all levels.
The wellbeing of our environment and the society is important to us. We undertake business activities that benefit not only our clients and Bay, but also our surroundings.
Bay adheres to a simple ideology – that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is essentially creating a framework that encourages and rewards responsible business behavior.
While we craft increasingly superior standards of living, let us also strivefor social progress, protecting the environment and using our natural resources judiciously.
