Job Context
Edge Gallery is a showroom for the best artwork collections in the region. The gallery’s events can be exhibitions that are executed by Edge or events by third parties whom Edge rents out the gallery space. To meet business expansion needs, Edge Gallery is looking to add new members to its Executive role.
Job Responsibilities
  • Taking bookings for artwork, packaging & delivery.
  • Be with potential clients for artwork selling and take booking for private events.
  • Handling cheques and credit/debit card sales. Managing the reception desk including answering and directing incoming phone calls.
  • Providing security for exhibitions including reporting any incident involving visitors’ touching or damaging artwork.
  • Helping, on occasion, with the installation of exhibitions under the supervision of the Foundation Coordinator, Gallery Manager, or Curator. This may include painting or repairing walls and pedestals, allocating display materials, and removing artwork when an exhibit is over.
  • During regular hours and special events, gallery executives are to ensure that the gallery is clean and that visitors follow the rules.
  • May also operate audio-visual equipment.
  • Be the key person to assist in budgeting, management and operation of the private events and gallery exhibitions
  • Inviting people for the events online and offline, preparing price list for the exhibitions
  • Preparing authenticity certificates, weekly and monthly reports to the management
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Foundation Coordinator, Gallery Manager, and/or the Director, in the absence of the former.

    Educational Requirements
    • Graduate from any reputed University, preferably with a Marketing Major
    Additional Requirements
    • Age 23 to 28 years
    • 2-3 years of experience in the Customer Service/Marketing field
    • Excellent command over English, both written and verbal
    • Strong personal organization and project management abilities
