Bay Developments is looking for an ambitious and self-starting individual to join our team as Executive or Senior Executive, Supply Chain Management. You will coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, Sourcing, and distribution items as needed. Job Nature
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
- Deeply Analyze the company’s requirements, evaluate every sourcing alternative, and pick the right one
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Perform all procurement and contracting activities to select the right vendor, including requirement analysis, quotation collection, pre-qualification and negotiation, comparison statement & taking approval from management, and preparing of contracts (Work order or DoA)
- Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and negotiating with vendors to minimize the cost of materials and get the best possible price, service, quality, and other terms of supply
- Evaluate letter of credit documents and collaborate with the accounts department to ensure timely financial obligations
- Coordinate with international logistic personnel to ensure proper shipment delivery
- Coordinate with vendor and project site for smooth delivery and manage the inventory smoothly
- Collect bills from vendors and process them to ensure timely payment in coordination with the Accounts team
- Manage any repair/maintenance work by the vendors as per the requirement of CST/BSL
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Conduct review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities
- Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval
- Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts
- Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods
- Challenge suppliers and internal customers to identify and implement innovative designs, value-add specification changes, concepts, and materials
- Reviews specifications and requisitions to understand internal client needs and savings opportunities, meeting project deliverables and timelines
- Estimating risks, applying risk minimizing techniques, and negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations
- Utilizes legal and risk management knowledge to minimize contractual risk, obtain executive signatures, and avoid contractual and/or commitment issues
- Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality
